Acceptance

By creating or joining a crawl in Bar Crawl Golf you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. We may update these terms occasionally; the date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.

Who can use this app

Bar Crawl Golf is rated 18+ on the App Store and is intended for adults of legal drinking age in their country of residence. In the United States that is 21+; in most of Canada, the UK, and Europe that is 18+. By using the app you confirm you meet the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction.

Chat. What you can and cannot post

Chat messages, photos, display names, and caddie names are user-generated. You are responsible for everything you post. Do not post any of the following:

• Harassment, threats, slurs, or hate speech aimed at any person or group
• Sexual content, nudity, or anything involving minors
• Content that promotes illegal activity, including drug dealing or violence
• Spam, commercial solicitation, scams, or impersonation of another player
• Photos of anyone who has not consented to be in the photo
• Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or likeness rights

Bar Crawl Golf is a small group chat scoped to your crawl. It is not a public forum, but the same standards apply. We may remove content or terminate access to the app for serious or repeated violations.

Host moderation

The host (the player who created the crawl) can delete chat messages from their game and remove players from the lobby. If something inappropriate is posted, ask the host to delete it. If the host is the problem, leave the game and report it to the support email below.

Reporting & 24-hour takedown commitment

Every chat message in Bar Crawl Golf is reportable. Long-press (mobile) or right-click (web) any message and choose Report message to flag it. Hosts have an additional Block this player from this game option that immediately removes the offending player from the crawl.

Library. Report and block: every published crawl in the Library has both a Report this crawl link inside the detail view (auto-flags the crawl after 3 distinct reports) and a Block creator button on the card itself, which hides every crawl from that handle on your device permanently. Together these satisfy Apple App Store Guideline 1.2's requirement that users can both report objectionable content and block abusive creators.

We commit to reviewing every report and removing objectionable content (or the user who posted it) within 24 hours of the report being received, in accordance with Apple App Store Review Guideline 1.2. Reports can also be sent directly to support@barcrawlgolf.app.

Drink responsibly

Bar Crawl Golf is a scoring tool, not a coach. The app tracks the strokes you tap; it cannot tell you when to stop, how drunk you are, or whether you are safe to keep going. You. And only you. Are responsible for your own consumption and your own safety.

• Never drink and drive. Use a rideshare, taxi, or designated driver. Every time, no exceptions
• Pace yourself, drink water between rounds, and eat
• Listen to your friends if they say it's time to slow down or stop
• Obey all local laws. Public intoxication, open container, and bar entry rules vary by city
• Respect bar staff. Bartenders and bouncers have the final word on serving you. Don't argue with a refusal
• If a friend is in trouble, stop the game and help them

Acceptable use

Don't try to break the app. Specifically: do not reverse engineer the API, scrape Supabase tables, brute-force game codes, abuse the AI Planner endpoint, or impersonate another player. Don't use the app for any unlawful purpose.

No warranty

Bar Crawl Golf is provided as is, without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be available, accurate, error-free, or uninterrupted. The AI Planner suggestions are generated automatically and may include closed, incorrect, or unsafe venues. Verify independently before you go.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bar Crawl Golf and its creator are not liable for any personal injury, property damage, loss, illness, arrest, hangover, missed flight, broken phone, ruined relationship, or any other consequence arising out of your use of the app, your consumption of alcohol, or your decisions on a crawl. You assume all risk.

Termination

You can stop using the app at any time. We can also revoke access for any user who violates these terms. Game data tied to a crawl may be deleted by request. See the privacy policy for details.
